Sippar

Lot 1 ] Lot 6 ] Lot 7 ] Lot 9 ] Lot 53 ] Lot 55 ] Lot 77 ] Lot 80 ]

This house was made with ONLY the Sims 1 base game installed and therefore should work for all versions of the game. It has NO custom content.

This large house is built on a flattened, desert lot. Inspired by towo things: a strikingly original design for a house built by my game hubby Ikuu in the MMO A Tale in the Desert, and concurrently a challenge at forum to make a Mexican-looking house, I am very happy to present - The Sippar. To keep it desert you'll have to use the raise terrain and lower terrain tool every few SimDays - simply raise a small piece of land somewhere in the grounds by a couple of clicks, then level all most of the exposed land to the same level; and then lower it all again. Remember that sand shifts...

It has basically one bedroom, one bathroom, swimming pools and large kitchen. The long rooms can easily be subdivided to suit your Sim family or playing style. Also large living rooms, and the main concourse is tiled and filled with (mostly) swimmable pools to keep Sims cool in the hot weather.

How Mexican it is probably depends on your custom content.

Please note: it's a very large house and looks a little odd in Neighbourhood view, as you see above - side walls tend to disappear.

It costs: §101,909 furnished.

See also Mexico - a version of this house I furnished with much more Mexican CC (but not for download, sorry).
