Neighbourhood Terrain Change

Cheat to change terrain type for a loaded Neighbourhood

You set the default terrain in the Custom Neighbourhood screen, but during normal game play it cannot be modified. 

Once your neighbourhood is loaded into the game, the default terrain type can still be modified with these cheats:

With the neighbourhoods you wish to change loaded in Sims 2, open the cheat box and use the following case-sensitive cheats

• terrainType Desert - This changes current neighbourhood terrain type to Desert.
• terrainType Temperate - This changes current neighbourhood terrain type to grassy terrain.
• terrainType Dirt - available after Nightlife
• terrainType Concrete - available after Nightlife

The first two types are the only ones available in the base game.
