I uninstalled World Builder because I find it very hard to use, not to mention poorly documented. Might return to it at some time but for now I am not making worlds. PLUS now I hear that EA has broken it again - apparently, it will not work without Generations installed. Since I have no intention of buying Generations until it is at MOST half price, that could be a while...
I was looking for empty worlds to play with and here are a few links.

Sims 3 World
Latest picture - click on it to get a larger view. I know the roads are nonsensically short. They do not link up and I am really not sure what to do with them; I was experimenting with the bridges and have still to discover if bridges will work with footpaths, or no roads or pathways at all.
Erstisla is very small. I had a disaster with the lots (well I discovered how to change Sea level! so they suddenly were all flooded) and had to remove them all, but they will be returning, in some form! It had a Lighthouse (non-functional, residential), a few community lots - school, city hall, beach. And a swamp.
Erstisla is my working name. (First Island).
A small island with a few Lots, a place to retreat to for peace, quiet and great fishing.

The sea-marshes.

The beach. There are 4 little beach huts for changing or taking shelter from the blustery wind.
