As she grew up a bit more, Marge decided she wanted to be a scientist.
Doug got a new job in Newton leFade, as a Key Grip at the movieplex, and they
moved across to the new town. Moving house is SO tiring; on arriving all they
wanted to do was sleep.
Megan, now officially called Sean but whom everyone still calls Megan, would
like to be a writer. He loved sloppy romance novels and thought he would like
to write some. His army training didn't leave much time for writing though.
The older kids moved out - Marge and Megan\Sean sharing a small cottage. (Making room for Sooo's new brood, which will be incoming. She still plans to have 5 babies...)
As you can see, Doug was doing more of the cooking, because Sooo was quite unwell, but in spite of that she managed to give birth to triplets, Kelly, Kassie and Kathy.
"Don't you look at me in that way... I don't want any more kids!"
Mowlam's birthday was eventful... he caught fire from the candles. On the cake.
A Mom of five children has to be able to cope with a little fire.
And be able to celebrate anyway!
Doug's new job at the film studios brought in much more money than any job he had had before, so Sooo decided to throw a major party for Mowlam's 13th birthday. She hired a mixologist and a bar, set up a buffet and the stereo and basically waited for everyone to arrive and get plastered. (There would not be many neighbourhood children there as her children were new to the district and didn't know many.) However, the locals she invited didn't turn up, so it was just family.
"Not very friendly, these Newtonians," she commented. "Mum, what do you expect? They are all originally from Maty, like us." Wisdom in the mouths of children...
Mowlam is a bright boy: Artistic, Athletic, Friendly, Shy and a Snob! Where
did that come from?
Mindy's birthday arrived: she is a Heavy Sleeper, Excitable and Brave.
Doug announced he was taking the whole family to the gym for a workout.
Sooo was pregnant again and so huge that Doug thought she must be having at least quintuplets. Unless it was all that birthday cake. It was actually triplets.
"I do feel rather like a whale," she grinned.
Marge aged up and got the Good trait. So she is an Angler, Artistic, Good, Loves the Outdoors, Never Nude.
Soon it was Megan\Sean's birthday too. He is Friendly, Ambitious, Vegetarian,
Lucky and Athletic.
Marge moved to Simsville and got work at the Science lab. "This is a great
town, come live here instead! I hear the studio here is looking for staff."
Sean also got a transfer to the military base in Simsville, to be near his family.
